It is with great sadness the family of Lorry Christopher Froude announces his sudden passing at his home in Grand Falls Windsor, NL, aged 49 years.

He leaves to mourn his 3 sons, Christopher (Courtney) Skanes, Zachary and Landon Taylor (St. John's); grandson, Jasper; uncle, Trevor (Dawn) Froude; aunt, Dorothy (Bill) Butler; as well as many extended family and friends.

Lorry was predeceased by his mother, Shirley Froude; grandparents, Lillian and Howard Froude and cousin, Ursula Smith.

Lorry had a passion for music. At a young age he developed a love for playing guitar. Without any formal training he could pick up a guitar and make it sing. He spent many years playing guitar with different local bands and even sported the long hair for a period to suit the part. He could sing as well and memorized every word to hundreds of songs.

Lorry had a big heart and great sense of humor, always ready to crack a joke and make you smile.

He will be greatly missed by all you knew and loved him.

In keeping with Lorry's wishes, cremation will take place.

The public visitation will take place Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11 am - 12 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral services will take place Saturday, February 18, 2024 at 2 PM from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Exploits Search and Rescue, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
