October 17,1953 - June 17,2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Laite announces her passing at the Grand Falls-Windsor hospital at the age of 69.

Linda was born in Grand Falls-Windsor in 1953. After finishing high school Linda started her working career at Riffs Ltd., where she spent 45 years working different positions and here she met some of her lifelong friends. She loved hosting people when they stopped by - anything from throwing together some tea buns or full on fish n' brews or a good feed of jigs dinner.
Linda enjoyed traveling with her family to visit her friends and cousins in Bonnavista, NL

Linda will be forever remembered by - daughter Christa (Keith) and their two children Nathan and Chloe. Son Andrew (Courtney) and their two daughters Lilah and Brielle. Her two sisters Joyce and Jude (Wayne), her nieces and nephews and countless friends and family.

Linda was predeceased by her husband of 45 years Clifford Laite. Her parents Deborah and Edmund Durdle, and her sisters Shirley, and Susie.

Linda dedicated the last 10 years of her life taking care of her husband after he suffered many health complications. Her family finds great peace in knowing that she is now reunited with the love of her life.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  All services will remain private for the family.
