It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Leslie Abraham Blanchard announces his passing from White Bay Retirement Living, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, July 30, 2023, aged 91 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories are his siblings Christina Davis, Rowena Mercer, Bella Pittman (Lloyd), Henry Blanchard (Blanche) and Eric Blanchard (Cecily); a very large circle of nieces and nephews, whom he considered to be his own children, extended family and many friends.

Leslie is predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Mary Jane Blanchard; infant sister, Ella Blanchard; sisters, Winnie Cassell (Andrew) and Amy Randell (Samuel), brothers-in-law, Edward Davis and Jerry Mercer; niece, Ruby Dredge; nephew, Matthew Randell.

A private family visitation took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL. There will be no public visitations.

A private family funeral service took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 with Reverend Deacon Nancy Hulan officiating. Interment followed from St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
