It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Leo Patrick O'Rielly announces his peaceful passing from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, aged 87 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories are his children, Patricia "Patsy" O'Rielly (Allen Zirk), Michelle Goyette (Larry), Melissa "Lisa" O'Rielly, Lenora Greenham (Cluney), Natasha Lewis (Harold Saunders), Sean O'Rielly (Isis Ramirez); grandchildren, Rochelle Butcher (Jeff), Shauna Shea (Jeff), Braden Goyette, Elisha Greenham, Heather Greenham, Nicholas Lewis, Neely Lewis, Chris Ramirez; great-grandchildren, Ian Butcher, Claire Butcher, Jack Butcher, Gavin McKay; siblings, Michael O'Rielly (Joan), Johanna Habjan (Ciril), Leslie O'Rielly (Joan), Helen Carefoot (Ed), Catherine Lewis (Gerard), Laura Gander (Chuck), Geraldine Cheater (Wade), Tom O'Rielly (Rona); siblings-in-law, Jackie O'Rielly, Anthony Lewis, William Lewis (Gloria), Maxwell Lewis (Denise), Matthais Lewis (Robin), Ron Lewis (Joan), Mary Drover (John), Pat Curran (John).

Leo is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" O'Rielly; son, Leo Joseph O'Rielly; parents, Thomas and Alice O'Rielly; son-in-law, Noel Lewis; grandson, Luis Ramirez; brother, William O'Rielly; parents-in-law, Patrick and Rita Lewis; siblings-in-law, Joseph Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Rita Reardon, Joe Lewis , Ned Lewis, Dennis Lewis, Art Lewis, Lawrence Lewis, Peter Lewis, Charles Lewis.

Public visitation will take place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

The Rosary service will take place on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 7 pm. The Wake service will follow at 7:30 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 am, with Father Anthony Aikins officiating. Interment will follow from St. Pius X Roman "Old" Catholic Cemetery at a time to be announced.
