Baie Verte

Obituary

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Kay Juanita Noble announces her passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, January 22, 2024, aged 67 years.

Kay was born on December 29, 1956 to Frank and Margaret Mitchell in Middle Arm, NL. She grew up in Middle Arm with her parents and siblings. She met Donald Noble and they were married on August 31, 1974. Together they had two children, Jeremy and Chastity. Later in life, after moving to Baie Verte, they were blessed with five grandchildren and eventually one great-granddaughter.

Kay loved the simple things in life and her family was her world. The loss of Don in 2010 was very hard on her but she carried on the best she could. She was a kind soul, who had many friends through the years, that she considered to be like family.

She eventually moved into White Bay Retirement Living this past summer and although she didn't get much time there before she was hospitalized, she met some lovely friends.

Kay will be forever remembered by her family and friends as a wonderful lady with a great sense of humour, a thankful soul who appreciated everything that anyone did for her and her love for plain chips, Pot of Gold chocolates and strawberry ice cream.

She will be forever in our hearts.

Left with a lifetime of memories are her children, Jeremy Noble and Chastity Hurley (Jim); grandchildren, Bobby Hurley (Alicia), Michael Hurley (Katie Chipp), Evan Noble (Hannah Doody), Jaylin Noble (Sheridan Randell) and Tanya-Lee Hurley (Nathan Saunders); great-granddaughter, Delilah Noble; siblings, Arthur Mitchell (Audrey), Effie Noble (Fred), Lottie Janes and Jessie Thomas (Scott); siblings-in-law, Guy Noble (Jean), Terry Huxter (Mary), Kevin Huxter, Raymond Huxter (Jennifer), Judy Budgell (Rick), Shirley Fewer (Glen), Lisa Tulk (Ben Hull), Louise Budgell and Betty Noble; special friend, Tony Fudge and her friends made during her short stay at White Bay Retirement Living, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kay is predeceased by her husband, Donald Noble; parents, Frank and Margaret Mitchell; siblings, Raymond Mitchell (Bertha), Bon Mitchell (Jean), Harvey Mitchell (Vera), Dorothy Noble and Ivy Mitchell; parents-in-law, Stanley and Camillia Noble; step-mother, Gertrude Huxter; siblings-in-law, Triffie Noble, Neil Tulk and Herb Janes.
