Obituary

It is with saddened hearts and yet rejoicing that we announce the promotion to glory of Captain Julia Alfreda Wiseman nee Ryan.

She began her journey in this life in the town of La Scie, Newfoundland & Labrador, and is now in the glorious presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 84 years. She lived her life to the fullest and spent many hours talking about her Saviour to those who would listen and was often rewarded when she introduced them to her Saviour. Those times were the highlights of her ministry.

Julie, along with her husband Roy spent 18 years as Officers in The Salvation Army. They enjoyed and loved every minute of ministry and every person they met.

Predeceased by her husband, Roy, the love of her life; parents, Bill & Eunice Ryan; in laws, Hubert & Maude Wiseman; sisters, Sheila Toms, Phyllis, Idella; brothers, Ray, Dorman, James, & Cecil; brothers-in-law, Weir Burton, Ralph Burton, Al Smart and Ed Poirier; sisters-in-law, Betty, Marjorie, & Ethel; aunt, Julie; nephews, Eddie, Jeffery, Donnie and Bradley; as well as nieces, June, Marlene, Carolyn, Tina, Melinda, Marietta & Norma, all of whom she loved dearly.

She leaves behind to mourn her brothers, Grogan (Patsy), Bill (Ann), George (Neta); sisters-in-law, Nina, Vera Poirier and Florence Smart as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.

She will be forever loved and missed by her children, Byron (Linda), Terry (Christy), Cyndi (James Weir), Denise (Jeff Noel) and Carolanne (Bram Sacrey). She loved and doted on her grandchildren, Trevor (Julie) Jennifer, Adam (Laura) Cory (Kalli) Caitlyn, Julie (Joe) Stephanie (Jason) Christopher (Jillian), Jillian (Alex), Emily, Stephen and Trina; as well as her 15 great grandchildren. All of whom will miss her dearly and will cherish so many wonderful memories.

We know there will be a great reunion with her loved ones but first and foremost she will see Jesus and she will hear him say "Well done thou good and faithful servant".
