Obituary

With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Julia Dawn on April 11, 2025 at the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor. Julia fought a battle with cancer and fought every step of the way. Her time with us was too short, yet she brought a depth of love, warmth, and beauty that will remain with us forever.

Julia had a thoughtful soul and a heart that felt so deeply. Julia always wore a big beautiful smile on her face and treated everyone she met like she knew them all her life. You were never just Julia's friend to her, you were family. Julia found joy in the simple things like getting lost in the pages of a good book or a crossword book, sitting by the river watching her fiancé fish, her huge collection of DVDs, going for a drive and watching her favourite NHL hockey team the Montreal Canadians. But the most joy she had was for her children, they were her everything and her world. She was a dreamer and a huge force of love in the lives of those lucky enough to know her. Her presence was never subtle, and left an incredible mark on everyone she met.

Julia is deeply missed by her parents, Lisa Beaton (Todd Lush), and David Butt (Joanne) ,Fiancé Shane White, Father and Mother in-law Harry and Holly White, her beloved children, Chloe, Julian, and Morgan.

Siblings Chelsey, Kallie, Kerri, Robert(Colleen), David, Joshua, Chantel, and Logan. Step-siblings Kayla and Justin , and her life long best friend Samantha and her family, and a very large circle of aunt's, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Julia's friends weren't just friends they were family to her.

Julia was predeceased by her grandparents Ann and Bob Eveleigh, grandparents Edith and George Butt, brother Coady Butt, and brother in-law Jamie White.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff - especially Dr. Campbell, and the entire amazing care team at the Lionel kelland Hospice. Words cannot express our gratitude for the exceptional care and support that Julia and her family received during her time and final days at the hospice. You all went above and beyond.
