Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor,  NL, Julia Lorraine Walsh (nee LeMoine) aged 99 years.

Julia was born in Grand Falls to Frank & Dorcas (Dewey) LeMoine on October 26, 1926, the oldest of four children.

Julia is predeceased by her parents, husband, Lawrence; sons, Larry and Sean; brothers, Donald and Bernard; son-in-law, Cyril Pynn.

Julia leaves to mourn; sister, Gloria in Florida, daughter, Maureen and sons, Chris ( Patty) and Rick (Cathy); daughters in law, Frances and Iris; as well a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to all the staff of the Carmelite House Unit C for their care and concern of Julia for the last three and half years.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service.

A grave-side service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM  at the Interfaith Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls - Windsor, NL.
