It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Ivy Gale announces her passing at The Health Science Centre, St. John's NL, on Saturday July 18, 2026 at the age of 78.

Joyce is predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Irene Newbury; Step Mother Doris Newbury; Sister, Golda Newbury; Parents-in-law, Thomas and Clara Gale; Brother-in-law, David Gray.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories her husband Clifford Gale; Daughters, Krista Collins (David), Kelly Foster (Leroy); Grandchildren Gracie Collins, Jacob Collins and Julia Foster; Siblings Sharon Warford (Wayne), Glen Newbury (Cathy), Alma Foster (Claude), Dorothy Gray, Mavis Garland (Daniel), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Public visitation will take place on Tuesday July 21, 2026 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM & 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 1:30PM from Trinity Pentecostal Church, Baie Verte, NL with Pastor Eugene Gillette officiating. Interment to follow at Trinity Pentecostal Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
