It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Edwin Burt announces his peaceful passing after a short illness at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 77 years.

John leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brother, Roy Boone (Ruth), Lloyd Burt (Eleanor), Terry Burt (Joan); sisters, Audrey Stuckless, Judy Green (Max); plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

John is predeceased by his parents, Douglas & Vivian Burt; & brother, Tony Burt.

John was a mechanic for over 30 years. He loved the woods, hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin in Tom Joe Brook. He was an avid walker and loved socializing with his cabin friends. He loved watching baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice.
