It is with sadness that the family of the late Joan Marie Thorne announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 78 years.

Joan leaves to mourn with loving memories her children, Gerald, Carl (Nancy), Sean (Elaine), & Karenmarie (Dennis); grandchildren, Matthew,. Jonathan, Brandon, C.J.; Nicole, Casey, Tyler, Alaine, Dylan, Dwight, Karamarie, & Zachary; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Karter, Griffin, & Rowan; siblings, Gerald (a.k.a Butch), & Eric; as well as a number if nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joan is predeceased by her husband, Gerald; son, Darrin; baby brother, Eric; parents, Gerald & Kathleen Walsh.

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 7-9 PM from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
