Passed peacefully away at her daughter & son-in-law's residence in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 78 years.

Joan is predeceased by her parents, Edward Martin & Helen (Nell ) Flood; mother & father-in-law, Cyril & Kate Sharpe; niece, Ann-Marie Flood; 3 great nephews, David, Matthew, & Stephen.

Joan leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 56 years, Wilson Sharpe; daughter, Beverly (John) Baker; son, Rick (Debbie) Sharpe; grandsons, Mark (Christina) Baker; Brent Baker (Bruno); great-granddaughters, Ambyr & Addyson Baker; siblings, Bonnie Dormody (Jim deceased), Kevin (Ruth deceased) Flood, Janice (Ron) Dakin, Bob (Teresa) Flood, Rod (Marg) Flood; Uncle Junior (Rose) Flood, Aunt Georgina Flood; special nephews & special nieces, Ed (Joanne) Dormody, Cory Flood (Cheryl), who was like a second son, Julie Dakin Fowler (Wayne), Michael Dakin (Melissa), Ryan Flood (Tessa), Krista Flood (Justin), Chad Flood (Krista); in-laws, Eric (Joanne) Sharpe , Dulcie (Glen) Evans, Vera Joy (Lindy) Goulding, Ross (Janice ) Sharpe, Roland (Carol) Sharpe, Sandra (Lorne) Knight, Laura Edna Sharpe (deceased), Eugene Shape (deceased), Freeman (Bev) Sharpe, Robbie Sharpe, Kim (Will) Goudie, Jeff ( Roseanne) Sharpe & Eleanor Sharpe; special cousins, Maxine (Bill) Reid, Gwen (Howard) Little, Patricia (Reg) Feener, Raymond (Karen) Flood, Dave (Cathy) Sharpe, Debbie (Paul) Drover; as well many other relatives and many friends.

The public visitation will take place Friday, February 21, 2020 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2 pm from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Father Joseph Uy.

The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL

No flowers by request, as expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Elks & Royal Purple Children's Fund & Lionel Kelland Hospice.
