It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Hicks announces her passing at the A. M. Guy Memorial Hospital, Buchans, NL aged 80 years.

Joan leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 61 years, Cyril; children, Frank (Roma), Gary (Christine), Brian (Heather), Michelle (Todd); grandchildren, Markus, Trevor, Matthew, Samantha, Morgan, Zackary; great granddaughter, Lainey; brothers & sisters, Leonard (Ina), Loretta, Maureen (Pat); plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Joan is predeceased by her parents, Johnny & Annie Budgell; brothers, Hubert, Bernard, Terry, George; & sister, Roberta.

Joan was a quiet lady with a love for her cat, gardening and walking. She had a kind heart and loved her family and friends. She will be missed more than words can say but comfort is found knowing she is finally at peace.

In keeping with Joan's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, services will be held at a later date.
