Marie Jeanette Davis, 81, of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, passed peacefully away on October 19, 2025 surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to Robert Davis—her devoted caregiver until the end.

Marie was a loving and proud mother to Tina and Chris. A loving "Crazy Nanny" to Kristen and Jenna (Jeff) whom she was extremely proud of and held a special place in her heart.

Born to Mary Jane and William Clarke of Victoria, NL, she was predeceased by her son, Chris Clarke Davis. Also predeceased by her brothers Bob (Cerise) and Jack and her sister, Glynis (Dave). She leaves to mourn many special nieces and nephews as a well as a large circle of friends and former colleagues.

Marie spent much of her life in Grand Falls-Windsor. She had many jobs and enjoyed each and everyone. She particularly loved being a town employee and spent many hours at the Joe Byrne and Centennial Field. She was an avid walker, cook and baker. She loved socializing and connecting with family and friends for a cup of tea and a chat.

The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents of the Grand Falls-Windsor Long-Term Care Center for their compassionate care. It made a big difference in her journey.

Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor.
