It is with sadness that the family of the late Jean Elizabeth Sooley (nee Cooper) announces her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 90 years.

Jean leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter, Loretta; step-children, Betty Waterman, & Randy (Lynn) Sooley; grandchildren, Richard Waterman, Alexandra Waterman, Reid Sooley, Nichola Sooley; great-grandchildren, Emma Waterman & Julia Soper; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jean is predeceased by her husband, Lionel Sooley; grandson, Kristofer Waterman; and parents.

The public visitation will take place Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10:30 am from Memorial United Church, Grand Falls-Windsor NL,  with Rev. Kim Waite officiating.

The interment will take place Friday August 11, 2023 at 3 pm at the United Church Cemetery, Twillingate, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Memorial United Church, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
