It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a dear husband, loving father, son, son-in-law, and brother - Jason Larry Burton.

Jason was born in Baie Verte, NL on October 12, 1973, the son of Larry & Lucy Burton and began his life in La Scie. He loved the small town life and enjoyed the outdoors to the fullest. Rain, snow or hail, Jason could be found riding his bike, playing sports, building forts and never
wanted to go inside at days end. His love and skill of building and taking things apart started very early in life. As he got older his passions included fishing, hunting, trapping and prospecting. He would walk for miles, setting rabbit slips, trouting, and trapping mink, fox, and
more.

In 1991, Jason moved to St. John's, NL, where he attended Memorial University. During a break at home, he met and quickly fell in love with his beautiful wife, Noelle. They married on February 19, 1999 and welcomed their first born, their princess, Isabella. Later followed by their 2
handsome sons, Isaiah and Jonah. They settled back in La Scie in 2001.

Jason was a true family man, who always put them first in all aspects of life. They were his whole life. He beamed with joy whenever he spoke of them. Isabella spent countless hours playing Zelda and other Nintendo games with her dad. They also enjoyed watching Dragonball
and One Piece. Even recently, still chatting about the episodes on the phone after. He spent endless hours at hockey practices, games and training camps with his goalie, Isaiah. He was so proud of his accomplishments and supported him 100%. They played so many games, and
enjoyed watching their shows together. Jonah inherited his dad's passion for the outdoors. During the summers, they could be found swimming, fishing and boating. When the fall set in, it was time for rabbit hunting, six wheeler rides and cabin building plans. He thoroughly enjoyed just spending time with him and creating precious memories.

Jason was a patient, loyal and kind-hearted husband to Noelle and a loving friend to so many. He could be counted on for anything and set the bar high for all who knew him. He enjoyed vacations with the love of his life and friends. He loved the warm weather, beaches and the
ocean. This passion was carried home, where he worked endlessly to create what his family and friends call the "Burton Resort."

Left to mourn are his wife of 27 years, Noelle; daughter, Isabella; and sons, Isaiah and Jonah.

Jason also leaves to mourn his father and mother, Larry and Lucy; his sister, Hettie (Rodney); His father-in-law, Junior; mother-in-law, Diane; brother-in-laws, Trevor (Nicci), Joshua (Tamlyn); sister-in-law Janelle (Colten); nieces and nephews, and so many friends.

Public visitation will take place from Bethel Pentecostal Church, La Scie, NL on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

The Funeral service will take place from Bethel Pentecostal Church, La Scie, NL on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1pm with Pastor Ivan Tilley officiating.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the La Scie Paramedics, also the doctor and staff at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
