It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Ivan Gerald Penney announces his passing. Ivan slipped into the presence of the Lord at his family home in Pacquet, NL on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 at the age of 62 years.

Predeceased by his parents – Barton & Wallie Penney; brothers – Edward Penney and Clifford Penney; parents-in-law – Augustus & Viola Norman and brother-in-law – Bevin Norman.

Left with a lifetime of incredible memories is his wife – Doreen Penney; son – Colby Penney; step-daughter – Sharlene Bragg (Justin); granddaughter – Clara; siblings – Phyllis Penney (Harold), Sheila Davis (Sam), Diane Penney, Scott Penney, Eileen Didycz (Bill), Bernice Penney and Barry Penney (Dina); siblings-in-law – Rick Norman (Vera), Morris Norman (Christine), Brad Norman (Darlene), Rhoda Butt (Larry), Monty Norman (Roxanne), Vandy Simms (Fredrick) and Velma Mugford as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service. Pastor Frank Newbury conducted an Immediate Family Graveside Service at Harvest Time Pentecostal Cemetery, Pacquet, NL on Thursday, April 9th, 2020 at 10:30AM.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Ivan's memory to The Canadian Cancer Society.

We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Ivan's memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the Penney family.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
