It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Hubert Stanley Clarke announces his passing from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, March 25, 2024, aged 77 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories is his wife, Hilda Clarke; daughters, Norma Mitchell (Lawrence), Corinna Clarke (Dave Regular), Tracey Decker (Arnold) and Lorraine Clarke (Rick Wilson); grandchildren, Tony, Leanne), Cody (Lacey), Blair (Mandy), Brady (Kendra), Anna (Cameron Collins), Adam (Chelsey Perry), Ali (Josh Matthews), Brin (Matt Hunter) and Britney (Liam Johnson); 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edgar Clarke and Dulcie Gosse (Jim); stepsons, Roger (Tracy), Tony (Dorenda) and Jeffery (Mimi); step-grandchildren, Nathan, Makayla and Maggie; special friends, Lester and Vicky Canning, as well as a large circle of siblings-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Hubert is predeceased by his first wife, Mildred Clarke; parents, Gilbert and Mary Clarke; brother, Mckinley Clarke; parents-in-law, Harvey and Cora Sacrey and William and Lucy Ward; siblings-in-law, Glenda Sacrey, Stephen Sacrey, Rowena Clarke, Claude Ward (Lorraine), Ruby King (Cyril), Jim Ward, Eileen Ward, Ford Ward, Roy Wimbleton, Sidney Ward, Delano Fowler and Viola Ward.

Public visitation will take place from The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

The funeral service will take place from The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 1 pm, with Major Kay Barnes officiating. Interment will follow from The Salvation Army Cemetery, Woodstock, NL.
