Herbert
Majano
Dec 26, 1956 — Dec 7, 2023
Baie Verte
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herbert Majano announces his passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, December 7, 2023, aged 67 years.
Left with a lifetime of precious memories is his loving wife, Margarita Majano; daughters, Mayra Majano, Toronto, ON, Debbie Hurley (Aaron), Baie Verte, NL, Michele Dearing (Philip), Baie Verte, NL and Vanessa Kaszanits (Christopher), Ajax, ON; Herbert was also a loving step-father to Ivonne Alegria (Tony), Peru and Robin Duque (Odile), La Prairie, QC; his beautiful grandchildren, Miqueas, Emilia, Malaya, Isla, Fynnley, Noah, Malisha, Mila and Caitlyn; he also leaves to mourn his siblings, Mario Majano, Mayra De Castillo, Daysi Majano and Edwin Majano.
Herbert is predeceased by his father, Efrain Majano; mother, Maclovia Majano; and his sister, Nora Majano.
When you think of someone as one of a kind, this is who Herbert was, whether you knew him for 5 minutes or a life time.
Herbert was someone many found very easy to love. Although he was reserved in many ways, it was easy to see through his actions how much he loved those around him.
Herbert had a real love for family closeness. The love for his wife, daughters, and grandchildren, was evident in the way he lived his life and his desire to always give them his best.
Although Herbert was a quiet man, to those who knew him as a friend, father and husband, they saw the true man and the zest he had for life. Through the family he was known for his quiet humor and entertaining dance moves that always brought a smile to your face.
He loved to tell stories of his youth in his home country of El Salvador. As the memories would return to him you could picture him there with his beautiful family, enjoying the many delights his upbringing and home country had to offer. Something that was a part of him but he was always ready to share with anyone and everyone.
Herbert's optimistic view of life and love of family is one of the many legacies he has passed on to his daughters and in turn to all of us.
Herbert was baptized Saturday, July 13, 2019 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Not long after his baptism Herbert's health declined and limited him greatly in his service to his Heavenly father. We are confident he looked to the day when soon he could serve Him in the way he truly desired to, hand in hand with his family and friends.
Without a doubt, the memory of Herbert won't be forgotten. For all of us cling to what we loved about him, but every detail is locked away in the memory of his Heavenly Father, Jehovah.
Job 14:14,15 " You will long for the work of your hands."
