It is with sadness that the family of the late Henry Thomas Giles announces his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre, Baie Verte, NL, aged 68 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories are: his wife, Ruby Giles; children, Rhonda MacIssac (Keith) and Jillian Giles (Carolina Zerebecki); step-son, Quentin Traverse (Nicole); grandchildren, Cameron Stanford, Noah Seward, Isabella Seward, Ilyssa Seward, Hanna Traverse, Greyson Traverse and Gabrielle Traverse; siblings, Michael Giles, Marjorie Butler, Robert Giles (Olivera), Lester Giles (Linda), Eric Giles, Roger Giles and Emily Giles; siblings-in-law, Carmel Giles, Trudy Giles, Gerard Traverse (Shirley), Mary Hurley (Melvin), Victoria Quigley (Patrick), Frazer Traverse, Pat Traverse, Melinda Duck (Jody) and Leo Seymour, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Henry is predeceased by his parents, James and Bridget Giles; siblings, William Giles, Ronald Giles and Geraldine Giles, Lily Giles, Michael Butler, Gerard Fahey; parents-in-law, Clarence and Madeline Traverse; infant sister-in-law, Clotilda Traverse; niece, Christy Crawford; nephews, Barry Giles and Aaron Giles.

The public visitation took place Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2 - 4 pm and 7-9 pm, and Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm from the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL

The rosary service took place on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 7 pm.

The wake service took place on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 7 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 3:30 pm, from the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL, with Father Camillus Ekedobe officiating. In keeping with Henry's wishes, cremation will follow and interment will take place at later date.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
