It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Helena Mary Perry (Walsh) announces her passing from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 53 years.

Helena was a person all about family. She loved her son more than life. She loved her family nights with her son, he was her whole world. When her son, Charlie got older, Helena moved from her home town to spend her life in Burlington with her future husband, Bryan.

They spent a lot of their time at the cabin. They would skidoo, go for quad rides and spend time in boat sailing and loving life.

As time went on, Helena spent less time doing those things and more time in their home. She did lots of cooking and was very good at it. More than once she fed a friend. She loved to spend time with her friends and having date nights with her husband. She was a lover of crossword books and puzzles and most of all loved facetime with her grandson, Levi that lives away, he was her world.

Helena was a big-time animal lover. She treated her cat, Jake like a baby and not to mention her goat, Molly. Safe to say, she spoiled her pets.

She loved God and her friends and family. She also loved chatting on the phone and having a good laugh.

Helena was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories is her husband, Bryan Perry, Burlington, NL; son, Charlie Walsh (Robyn), Fort McMurray, AB; step-children, Joshua Prowse, Springdale, NL and Brianna Perry (Andrew), St. John's, NL; grandchildren, Levi Walsh, Landon Prowse and Jace Prowse; mother, Clotilda Walsh; mother-in-law, Ruby Perry; siblings, Joy Walsh (Nick), Roberta "Bobbie" Saunders (Jethro), Gordie Walsh and Kristie Walsh; sister-in-law, Linda Noble (Daren); special friends, Nancy Lewis (Tony), Margaret Lewis (Terry), Joan Nippard (Larry), Clem Brenton (Rod), Doreen Kelly, Theresa Saunders, Megan Matthews, Keith Green, Mike Glavine (Amanda) and Margie Walsh: niece, Kira; nephews, Kane, Colton and Gregory, as well as extended family and many friends.

Helena is predeceased by her father, Gordon Walsh; father-in-law, George Perry; sister-in-law, Donna Noble.

The Rosary service took place from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 7 pm. The Wake service followed at 7:30 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 12 pm. Interment followed from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fleur de Lys, NL.

A luncheon will take place after the interment for family and guests.
