it is with great sadness that the family of the late Helen 'Ivena' Burt announces her passing at the Lewisporte Clinic, Lewisporte, NL, aged 86 years.

Helen Ivena Burt was born to Margaret and Arthur Cramm in Embree on October 2, 1939. She married Reginald Burt on October 25, 1958. For many years, Ivena was a stay at home mom, but in later years she worked at the Chuck Wagon Restaurant in Baie Verte as a cook. Her most enjoyable job, however, was being babysitter to Carol-Ann and Jordan.

Together Reg and Ivena had three sons; Brian (deceased), Graham (Triffie) and Paul, two daughters; Jackie and Michelle. They had 9 grandchildren; Carey, Adrianne, Jodi, Lacey, Kayla, Morgan, Danielle, Reginald, and Ethan; 10 great-grandchildren, Arianna, Maia, Jaxx, Taylor, Kalem, Spencer, Noah, Casey, Benjamin and Eleanor. Besides her immediate family, she leaves to mourn brothers Jerry (Mary) Cramm and Barry (Joanne) Cramm; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

The funeral service will take place Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 1:00 PM from Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, 131 Grenfell Heights, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Pastor Marvin Burton officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation or the Parkinson's Society.
