It is with sadness that the family of the late Hedley Frederick Samson announces his passing at the Carmelite House Palliative Care Unit, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 73 years.

Hedley leaves to mourn his children, Jeffrey (Sharon) Samson, Jamie (Karen) Samson, Teena (Robbie) Woodford, & Amanda Saunders; grandchildren, Nathan Samson, Jenelle Samson (Brad Way) , Marshall Whelan (Victoria Snow), Emily Sparkes, Jake Sparkes (Alana Byrne); great grandchild, Sawyer Way; brother, Oswald (Joan) Samson; sister, Irene (Elmo Hynes); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hedley is predeceased by parents, George & Hettie Samson; brothers, Levi, Samuel, & Raymond; sisters, Ruby, Maisie, & 3 infant sisters.

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 2-4 pm and 7-8 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 1 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Majors Larry and Judy Goudie officiating.
