It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Hazel Mildred Rideout announces her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL aged, 88 years.

Left with a lifetime of memories are her children, Junior Rideout (Brenda), Dean Rideout, Olive Pretty, Eileen Strang and Kay Ingalls-Widmont; 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Pearl Bowers and Leo Webber, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Hazel is predeceased by her husband, Donald Rideout; children, Morris Rideout, Charles Rideout, Curtis Rideout and Brenda Dicey; parents and parents-in-law, siblings, Vicky Saunders, Lillian Thomas, Ed Webber, Roland Webber and Cecil Webber; son-in-law, Wayne Pretty.

The family would like the extend special thanks to White Bay Retirement Living for their wonderful care of their mom for the past three and a half years. Also, a huge thank you to the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Dr. Nikkar and the nursing staff for everything they did in caring for Mom.

Public visitation took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.

The funeral service took place from Trinity Pentecostal Church, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 2 pm with Pastor Jeffery White officiating. Interment followed at Trinity Pentecostal Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
