It is with sadness that the family of the late Hayward Hillier announces his passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 78 years.

Hayward leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son, Byron and his wife, Melinda; daughter, Kelly and her partner, Joe; sister, Betty Porter; uncles, Ron & Cyril; aunt, Joyce; lifelong friend, Daphne; little pal, Toby; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; plus a large circle of family & friends.

Hayward was predeceased by his parents, Hayward & Effie Hillier; sisters, Loretta, Marie, Barbara; brothers, Wilson, Guy, & Lorne.

Everyone who knew Hayward knew him as "Junior", "Chocolate", "Pappa H" or "Magoo"! Dad was a hard working man and a loving father. He did everything to provide for his family. We will miss him and cherish every memory.

Rest in peace dad, till we meet again.

The public visitation will take place Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Monday, July 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel, 27 Park Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Majors Peter & Janice Rowe officiating.

Interment will be at a later date.
