It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Titus Morey announces his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL, on March 31, 2026 at the age of 81 years.

Harvey was born in Port Anson on August 18, 1944. He met Velma Gray from Shoe Cove and together they had 5 children. Harvey is best known for being a truck driver as he worked with La Scie plant for over 30 years. Harvey was a wonderful provider for his family. He was active in his church. His children recall not having an option when it came to attending church.

Harvey was predeceased by his wife Velma; parents, Titus & Emily Morey; brothers, Adolphus Morey, Peter Morey (Millicent), Hubert Morey (Pearl); sisters, Velma Burton (Lloyd), Effie Hayden (Cecil); parents-in-law, Clarence & Gertrude Gray.

He leaves to mourn his children, Pansy Martin (Brian), Jerry Morey (Vanessa), Dwayne Morey (Lizza Marie), Barb Foster (Merricks), Jon Morey (Gwen); grandchildren, Tiffany Hann, Tyson Martin, Damara Morey, Devin Morey, Keilen Morey, Miguel Foster, Erica Foster, Jaiden Morey & Sierra More; great grandchildren, Ava Hann, Harlyn Hann, Kash Bowers, Khloe Martin, Autumn Fitzgerald; siblings, Freeman, Samuel, Guy, Cyril, Roy, Shirley; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

As per Harvey's request, a private family funeral service will take place at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 1:00PM.
