It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harris Edward Moores announces his passing on November 28, 2024 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL at the age of 86 years.

Harris leaves to mourn with loving memories his children, Rhonda Moores (Hughie Perry), Paradise, NL, Dana Moores, Kamloops, BC, Nicole Ward (Tony). La Scie, NL, Timothy Moores, Smith Falls, Ont; grandchildren, Ryan & Emily, Cedar & Harmony, Brittany & Devon, Zoey, Skylar, Alec, Montana, Bella and Lisa; great-granddaughter, Ashylnn; siblings, Pearce Moores (Sarah), Wilbourne Moores (Joan), George Moores (Carol), Keith Vokey; step-siblings, Nelson Vokey (Shirley), Marie Vokey (Eugene Osbourne) & Lorraine Dwyer; siblings-in-law, Victoria Moores, Vera Andrews, Mavis McPherson, Marion Walsh, Francis McPherson, Leo McPherson (Carol), Micheal McPherson, Bernadette McPherson & James McPherson. also a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Moores; parents, Pearce moores & Alfreda Vokey; parents-in-law, Patrick and Ellen McPherson; sister, Rowena Emmons; brother, Howard and Arthur, wife Lorna; step-siblings, Roy Vokey, Greta & Natha Bates; brother-in-laws, Alphonsus McPherson, Mark McPherson & Phillip Walsh.

The public visitation will take place on both Saturday, November 30, 2024 and Sunday, December 1, 2024 from  2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm  at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.

The Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 2, 2024 from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL at 1pm, with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. interment to follow at the Trinity Pentecostal Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
