It is with deep sorrow that the family of the late Harris Freeman Gavin announces his passing. Harris passed away at his family home in Westport, NL on Saturday, December 26th, 2020, with his family at his side. Harris was 65 years of age.

Harris is predeceased by his father - Clayton Gavin.

Left with many fond and loving memories is his wife of 44 years - Debbie Gavin, Westport, NL; children - Sandy Zinck (Marc), Halifax, NS and Karen Gavin, Baie Verte, NL; grandchildren - Blake, Spencer and Gavin; mother - Hazel Gavin, Westport, NL; siblings - Wilson Gavin, Roger Gavin (Doreen), Terry Gavin (Dot), Marilyn Mackenzie (Charlie), Lawrence Gavin (Savannah), Vincent Gavin and Peter Gavin; parents-in-law - Ernest & Cecile Brian; siblings-in-law - Robert Brian, Theresa Brian, John Brian (Janice) and Terry Brian (Elaine) and special friend - Glen Cassell as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, fire department family and friends.

Public Visitation will take place at Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 from 12:00-2:00PM. A Funeral Service will take place at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harris' memory to the Daffodil Place, Ropewalk Lane, St. John's, NL.
