It is with hearts full of gladness that the family of the late Guy J. Bailey release him into his Heavenly Father's arms. Guy J. passed away at Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the age of 89 years.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children, Judy Loveman (Don), Baie Verte, NL, Donna Rideout (Dean), Fort McMurray, AB, Ivan Bailey (Sharon), Baie Verte, NL, Scott Bailey (Paula), Baie Verte, NL, Kent Bailey (Velna), Baie Verte, NL; grandchildren, Dena McKay (Terry), Peggy Sue Pollard (Andre), Joey Rideout (Tamerra), Stephanie Ducharme (Yves), Dion Loveman (Alisha), Laura-Dawn Loveman (Justin), Andrew Bailey (Dana), Alex Bailey (Paula), Evan Bailey, Gregory Bailey (Staci), Aaron Bailey (Jennifer), Catherine Fudge (Adam), Victoria Thomas (Troy); great-grandchildren, Alisha, Emma, Emily, Sidney, Bailey, Sammy, Kadon, Zachary, Georgia, Tessa, Nora, Veronica, Sophie, Thomas, Raela, Logan, Lennon, Mackenzie and Baby Girl Loveman; and great-great grandchild, Aria Grace; siblings, Gus Bailey (Betty), Betty Perry (Ross) and Mary Bailey; siblings-in-law, Jessie Coish (Clarice), Gordon Butt, Norma Bridger (Neil), June Coish, and Jessie Coish. As well as an extended circle of family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Gladys Bailey; in-laws, Clayton & Lucy Coish; the mother of his children, Pearl Bailey (Coish); brothers, Frank Bailey, Brymer Bailey, Wallace Bailey and Bruce Bailey; brothers-in-law, Wesley Coish, Lloyd Janes and Milton Coish; sisters-in-law, Bernie Bailey, Myrtle Bailey, Mercedes Bailey, Gail Bailey, Evelyn Janes and Phyllis Butt; and nephew Geoffrey Coish.

Public visitation took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 7:00-9:00 pm, continued on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.

Pastor Melvin Power, assisted by Pastor Greg Patey conducted the funeral service from Trinity Pentecostal Church, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Interment followed at Trinity Pentecostal Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations will be accepted in Guy J.'s memory by his family and distributed to Guy J.'s favourite charities.
