It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Wilson Gale announces his peaceful passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre on November 8, 2024 at the age of 86.

Gordon was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones. He had a passion for playing guitar and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, berry picking and working in his yard.

Gordon leaves to mourn with loving memories his wife Selina, sons Howard (Mary) and Jim (Claudette); daughter Sheila; grandchildren Robyn, Morgan, Olivia and David; sisters Hazel Gavin and Christine Gillingham, sisters-in-law Jessie Osmond, Annie Jacobs, Doris Decker, Audrey Jacobs and brother-in-law James Jacobs.

Gordon is predeceased by his parents John and Gladys; brother Chesley; sister Daisy; mother-in-law Charlotte Jacobs; father-in-law Cecil Jacobs; brothers-in-law Grogan Randell, Clayton Gavin, Leander Gillingham, Stanley Osmond, Robert Jacobs, Henry Decker and sister-in-law Beulah Gale.

The funeral will take place at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Westport on November 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM, Internment will follow at the church cemetery.
