It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Dyer announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Heath Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, aged 75 years.

Gerald leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his wife, Muriel; brother, Calvin (Regina); brother-in-law, Junior (Daisy); sister-in-law, Mabel (Guy); special niece, Renee (Derrick); special great-niece, Bella; special great-nephew, Tommy; nephew (like a brother) Barry (Diane) Ryan; as well as other family and friends.

Gerald is predeceased by his parents, James & Marjorie Dyer; infant brother; parents-in-law, Allan & Maisie Bishop; brothers-in-law, Calvin Bishop; Desmond Bishop, & Frank Bishop; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Ryan; Jean Abbott, Phyllis Foss, Jessie Critch & Mavis Bath.

The public visitations will take place Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the United Church, La Scie, NL.

The funeral service will take place Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the United Church, La Scie. NL with Rev. Cory Paul officiating.

The interment will take place at the United Church Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
