Franklin Harold
Goulding
Mar 17, 1938 — Sep 7, 2026
Grand Falls-Windsor
Good-byes are for those who love only with their eyes.
For those who love with their heart and soul, there
is no such thing as separation... Rumi.
Franklin Harold Goulding was born in Grand Falls on March 17th, 1938 to Harold and Louella Goulding. In 1964, he married his devoted and inseparable wife Barbara Burry of Greenspond. They developed a special love for each other that quickly blossomed into a wonderful family with their two children, Suzette and Sheldon, on Sutherland Drive. It was here that so many beautiful memories were made that would be shared forever!
Frank was a person who put his family first; their well-being meant everything to him.
From road trips to Nova Scotia camping out in Salt Springs to longer jaunts to the beaches in Florida, Frank made sure his family had fun together. Even in his final moments, he expressed his love and concern to each one of them. He was a gracious man, a person who believed in values. He believed in giving back, and was always eager to step forward to volunteer. He was a past Master of the Masonic Lodge Northcliffe and devoted his time to the food bank, Scouts and the church.
A man's legacy is not riches, possessions or worldly goods of any kind. Rather, it is the way he lived, the lives he touched, the love he showed, and the promises he kept. Frank Goulding was this kind of man.
Waiting For You
When sunset starts to sink out in the distance
And rob the sky of fading shades of blue
Just as I whispered when my last breath taken
My promise is to sit and wait for you!
