Leading Tickles

Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Patsy Parsons announces her passing at the Health Science Centre, St. John's NL aged 63 years.

Florence leaves to mourn with loving memories: her husband, Ariel; daughter, Sonya (Dexter); son, David (Karen); grandchildren, Brianna, Hope, & Pria; step-grandchildren, Logan, & Zack; mother, Myrtle; sisters, Sadie, & Elaine; brothers, Henry (Brenda), Hedley (Rosalyn); as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Florence is predeceased by her father, Henry; grandson, Brandon; parents in-laws, John & Joyce Parsons.
Florence lived her life with servitude. She was a true volunteer by heart. her small community, where she served as a Volunteer Mayor, knew where to turn when something needed to be done.

She loved being on the water with her soul mate, Ariel, where they spent many hours together in their boat making a living.
Above all, Florence's true passion was her family as her husband, children, and grandchildren meant everything to her.  Nothing made her happier than putting the pot on and having a full kitchen.

Florence never met a person she didn't connect with and care about. It is a legacy of selflessness that she leaves behind and will be forever remembered.
