It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Fannie Marie Hibbs (Taylor) at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 84 years.
Fannie was born June 21, 1938 to Frank and Levena Taylor in Peterview NL. She was one of 11 children: Yvonne (Edward) Burt, June (Dave)Tamblyn, Blanche (Jim) Brenton, Jean (Doug) Taylor, Terry (Mary) Taylor, John (Diane) Taylor, Barb Taylor, Evangeline Penton and Nancy (Pete) Taylor.
Fannie married the love of her life, Albert Hibbs on May 1, 1959 and there they resided in Peterview, NL for 62 years together before the passing of her husband, Albert in 2021. They had 6 children and one step-son to Fannie;

Fannie was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Fannie worked as a homecare worker until she was forced to retire in her late 50's due to back injuries. Although she retired, she never missed an opportunity to take care of someone who she thought needed it, whether it be her adult children, grandchildren friends or strangers, she always wanted to help. In her golden years Fanny enjoyed playing cards and visiting, especially with her sisters. She enjoyed every opportunity to laugh and sit with friends and family.
Fannie is predeceased by her husband, Albert Hibbs; parents, Frank and Levena Taylor; brother, Fred Taylor, brothers-in-law, Edward Burt, Dave Tamblyn, Doug Hiscock; great-granddaughter, Esme Elliott.
The public visitation will take place Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.
The funeral service will take place Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Peterview, NL with Captain Tina Dominaux officiating.
The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Peterview, NL.
As expressions of sympathy flowers are greatly accepted as Fannie loved flowers.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive. Botwood, NL.
