It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest Rice announces his passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Long Term Care Unit, Baie Verte, NL, November 22, 2025 at the age of 94.

Ernest leaves to mourn with loving memories, his brother Bart Rice (Linda); sister, Joan Banks; also a large circle of other relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his partner, Carmel Downey; parents, Cyril & Winifred Rice; brothers, Wilfred Rice, Gord Rice, Pleaman Rice, Albert Rice; sister, Anita Rice.

The public visitation will take place Monday, November 24, 2025  from 2:00 - 4:00PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 1:00PM from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
