It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Sidney Andrews, age 88, of La Scie, NL announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Eric was predeceased by his wife Eileen: parents – Harry & Lydia Andrews; sister – Ethel Ryan-Critch (James & Bert); parents-in-law – Herbert & Mabel Bishop; sisters-in-law – Betty Ryan (Raymond), Florie Johnson (Douglas); brothers-in-law – Gordon Bishop (Jeanette), Woodrow Bishop (Dorothy), Claude Russell, Cyril Tilley, & George Butt; nephews – Eddie Ryan, Jason Andrews, Rick Andrews, James Matthews, Dennis Bishop & Major Rocky Bishop; nieces – Joan Loveless, Tina Ryan, & Melinda Ryan.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children – Florence Borgela (Miguel), Gordon Andrews (Amy Dawson), and Todd Andrews (Chastity); grandchildren – Eric, Elizabeth, & Jacob Borgela; Corey Anstey & Nicole Dawson; Molly, Martin, & Mallory Andrews; great-granddaughter – Willow Anstey; sisters – Joan Matthews (John), Bertha Butt, & Marjorie Russell; brothers – Jobie Andrews (Sheila), Philip Andrews (Judy) & Orville Andrews and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Family viewing will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 6-8 pm, public visitation will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm.

Funeral service will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL at 2 pm on Monday, August 17, 2026 with interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery, La Scie, NL
