It is with sadness that the family of the late Emily Jenine Chatman announces her passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, aged 87 years

Leaving with much love and heartbreak are: her husband of 70 years, Allister; children, Diane, Karen (Gerald), William (Rosalyn), Cynthia (Allan), David, Beverly, Rhonda (Chris), & Rodney (Michelle); her favorite fur baby, Lily; brother, Calvin; sisters, Ruby & Eva; grandchildren, Stefan, Shauna, Nicole, Natasha, Danny, Chantelle, Beverly, Nicholas, Winston, Sherry, Joshua, Haylee, Suley, Kevin, Joy, Chastity, Crystal, Sarah, Bobbie Lee, Billie Jean, Carly, Deidre, & Nicole; 31 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by parents, Walter & Emily Strickland; mother & father-in-law, Stewart & Naomi Chatman; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; son-in-laws, Wayne Mouland & Jerry Smith; & sister-in-law, Olga Stuckless.

Emily was a lover of Bingo, Skip-Bo.  Her Skip-Bo partner & granddaughter Sarah will miss her Nan tremendously!  We all will! She was also very fond of her caretakers at Golden Years Estate and Oram's Bethesda Seniors Home in Gander, NL.  She will be missed by all!!

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the Community Church, Badger, NL with Verley Roberts officiating.
