It is with great sadness that the family of the late EmillieAnne Kerfont announces her passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Long Term Care Unit on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the age of 73.

EmillieAnne was a devoted mother who put everything above herself. she lived for her faith and her church. she faced problems with prayer and she would always repeat the quote "This too shall pass"

EmillieAnne is predeceased by her daughter, Laura Schennery; parents, Yvonne and Joachim Benoit; sisters, Ann Johnson & Claire Downey; brothers, Danny & Gerard Benoit.

She leaves to mourn, her daughter,  Christina Young (Austin); Olivia Young (granddaughter), Hope Lagatdu (granddaughter); siblings, Ronald Benoit (Shirley) Bernard Benoit (Kathleen),Howard Benoit, Adel Lacosta (Ted) Theresa; and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL on Wednesday December 3, 2025 from 11:00am - 8:00pm.

The funeral service will take place from Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00pm, with Pastor Trevor Deering officiating.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
