It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth Valarie Welshman announces her passing from her family residence in Shoe Cove, NL on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at the age of 67 years.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, Hector & Iris Hawkins; parents-in-law, Harvey & Joyce Welshman; her darling niece Josephine; brothers-in-law, Rex Welshman, Kevin Burton.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Wayne; sons, John Wayne (Sharon), Jarvis (Christina); and the light of her life-grandson Jayson; siblings, Lorraine, Golda (Lewis), Marylou (Bob), Eldon (Darlene), Clifford (Flora), John (Sandra); sister-in-law, Christine (Junior); brothers-in-law, Lewis (Golda), Malcolm (Bessie); also a large circle of family & friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.

You fought for us all in one way or another, Not just as a wife not just as a mother.

For all of us you gave your best, Now the time has come for you to rest.
