It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eli Stanley William Brenton announces his passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 78 years.

Eli leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children, Jean-Marie (Ken) Parsons, William (Eileen), Laurie (Paul) Foley, & Christopher (Pattie); grandchildren, Jeannette (Brandon), Krista (David), Maranda, Sarah, Megan (Brandon), Stephen (Shalyn), Jason (Shyla), Justin (Miranda); great-grandchildren, Jared, Tysen, Luna, Austin, Zayne, & Mateo; brothers, Sterling (Josie), Eugene; sisters, Dolly, Elizabeth, Mona (Jim), Diane (Kerry); plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, family & friends.

Eli is predeceased by his parents, Chesley & Armenia Brenton; & wife, Janet.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

The public visitation will take place Monday, April 22, 2024 at 2-4 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will remain private to the family.

As expressions of sympathy & in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society
