Obituary

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Elaine Bonnie Perry announces her passing from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, January 1, 2024, aged 60 years.

Elaine was born in Baie Verte to Golda and Harvey Noble on October 20, 1963. On May 8, 1981, she married Harry and had 42 years of marriage. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Susan and Sueann, who she loved immensely. In 2000, Susan and Kevin were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Brody, who was Elaine's entire world until she took her last breath.

Elaine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. In the days when she was well, she loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed her nightly rides in car, loved to spend time with friends, and always welcomed people in her home. There was no home more welcoming than Elaine's. She loved to laugh, and her laugh was infectious.

Elaine loved with her whole heart and she made sure it was the last words she said before you left her home, hung up the phone, or ending a conversation online. To know her was to love her, she will be missed tremendously.

Left with precious memories is her husband, Harry Perry, Burlington, NL; daughter, Susan Saunders (Kevin); grandson, Brody Saunders; special niece, Kayla Pittman (Sheldon) and kids; siblings, Junior Noble (Joan), Juanita Burton (Bryce), Keith Noble (Bonnie), Audean Decker (Ron); siblings-in-law, Glen Foster, David Perry, Fern Antle (Arch), Earl Perry (Kathy), Hayward Perry (Lisa), Jerry Perry (Peggy), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Elaine is predeceased by her daughter, Sueann Perry; parents, Harvey and Golda Noble; parents-in-law, Fred and Georgina Perry; sister, Maxine Foster; infant sister, Darlene; sister-in-law, Kelly Noble; grandparents, Raymond and Jessie Thomas; Arthur and May Noble.

Public visitation will take place from Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
