It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Douglas Andrews announces his passing into the presence of the Lord at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the age of 85 years.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children, Stephen Andrews, Ivan Andrews (Annemarie), Paul Andrews, Philip Andrews (Kim), Scott Andrews, Paula Andrews (Glen) and Jamie Andrews (Crystal); grandchildren, Brianna, Justin, Jason, Samantha, Gabriella, Kenzie and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Josie and Colton; siblings, Lillian Mitchell (Woodrow), Annie Deering, Dorothy Curtis, Jim Andrews (Vera), Geraldine Harris, Gwen Morgan, Nina Saunders, Wayne Andrews (Elizabeth), Valerie Short and Victor Andrews (Nola); siblings-in-law, Doris Russell, Hubert Burden (Margaret) and Guy Burden (Stella), as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his wife, Lucy Andrews; parents, Cluney and Blanche Andrews; siblings, Nelson Andrews and June Andrews; parents-in-law, Henry and Mary Burden; siblings-in-law, Jean Andrews, Clifford Harris, Dean Morgan, Joe Deering, Orvin Short, Wayne Saunders, Raymond Curtis, Myrtle Butt (Ben), Maude Russell (Gordon) and Paul Burden.

Public visitation took place at Bethel Pentecostal Church, La Scie NL on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM.

Pastor Ivan Tilley conducted the Funeral Service at Bethel Pentecostal Church, La Scie, NL on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Interment followed at Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, La Scie, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to La Scie Fire Department, P.O. Box 309, La Scie, NL A0K 3M0.
