It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Edna Gladys Penney announces her passing from the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday, November 16, 2023, aged 83 years.

Left with loving memories is her son, Terry Penney (Denise); grandchildren, Miranda, Angela, Camellia (Brandon) & Terry; great grandchildren, TJ and Antonio; sister, Phyllis (Garfield); siblings-in-law, Violet (Wayne) and Claude; special cousins, Sandra (Roy) and family, Kelly and Colleen; special friends, Diane Bryan and Elsie Prowse, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Edna is predeceased by her husband, Aubrey Penney; son, David Penney; parents, Edmund and Evelyn Hamlyn; parents-in-law, William and Pearl Penney; siblings-in-law, Chesley Penney and Janet Penney.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.

An interment service will take place at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edna's memory to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, La Scie, NL.
