Edmund (known to his family as ED) was born Oct 2 nd 1927 to Edmund & Virtue (Abbott) Fisher in Bonavista, NL.
Ed is predeceased by his parents; Brothers, Wilfred & George; Sisters-in-law, Myra & Audrey; Brothers-in-laws, Ronald & Harold; Great-Grandchildren, Emily & Parker; nephew, Kenneth.
Blessed with many happy & cherished memories are his loving Wife, Ruby of 73 years; Daughter, Sheila (Fen); Sons, Terry (Wanda), Wayne (Winnie), & Glenn (Marilyn); Grandchildren, Brian (Stacia), Shelley (Ben), Brad (Dawn), Jason (Jennifer), Dana (Charles), Nicole (Suresh), Amiee (Cory), Dale (Nancy), Susan (Troy), Adam (Wendy), & Amanda (Matthew); Great-Grandchildren, Trinity, Sierra, Avery, Katie, Sami, Simon, Max, Nathan, Cheyenne, Kristen, Spencer, Danielle, Megan, Sam, AJ, Abigail, Lexie, & Jack.
At the age of 16 he moved back to Windsor for work. After a short period in the logging camp, he went to work with The Department of Highways as a truck driver and then as a welder. He retired September 30 th , 1984 after 36 years of service.
Ed loved to fish, hunt, cut wood, snowmobile, travel to Florida with family and good friends. He also enjoyed time at the cabin at Badger Lake. Without fail, Monday nights, he loved to Bowl with the Windsor Rovers.
As a young boy he played cornet in The Salvation Army Band and later played Bass in The Park Street Citadel Band. He was also a member of The Salvation Army Men's Fellowship Club.
Ed was kind, generous & loving man who loved his family dearly. One of his favorite family events was the Annual Fisher Boxing Day Supper. All of his children, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren would gather at the Fisher residence and enjoy lots of food, fun, laughter & love.
We will miss our beloved husband, father, grandfather, & great-grandfather dearly. Our memories of this man will live in our hearts forever.

The visitation will take place Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2 - 4 pm & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The funeral service will take place Tuesday, August 10, 2021 by invitation only at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel with Majors Peter & Janice Rowe officiating .
In lieu of flowers donations in Ed's memory may be made to The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel Band.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
