It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Edith Mary Antle announces her sudden passing at her family residence in Baie Verte, NL on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the age of 78 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories are her children, Wayne Antle (Colleen Lewis), Donna Rice (Kevin) and Mabel Dawe (Tony); grandson, whom they raised, Shane Antle (Robin), grandchildren, Tyler Rice (Mercedez Rideout), Jonathan Payne (Brandi Haas Payne), Julian Rice (Lindsay Roth), Tara Antle (Shane Noble), Tyra Antle and Emily Dawe; great grandchildren, Jaxson Rice, Avery Rice, William Rice, Lexie Payne and Preston Payne; siblings, Eleanor Duffenais, Mabel Steever (John), Peggy O'Quinn (Danny), Marilyn Barry (Jim) and Clifton Reteiffe; siblings-in-law, Beatrice Downey, Edward "Ted" Antle (Patsy), Peggy Ford, Olivera Antle and Jenita Downey; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family & many friends.

Edith is predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Antle; son, Gary Antle; parents, Fred and Margaret Reteiffe; siblings, Rita Rioux, Robert Reteiffe, Lucas Reteiffe, Bernard Reteiffe; parents-in-law, Michael and Louise Antle; siblings-in-law, Irene Murray (Kevin), Violet Lewis (Gregory), John "Jack Downey, Harold Downey, Summie Duffenais.

Public visitation took place at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 7-9 pm, continuing on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm.

Rosary service took place on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 7 pm.

Wake service took place on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 7 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 2 pm with Father Camillus Ekebode officiating. Interment followed at St. Pius X Roman Cemetery.
