It is with sadness that the family of the late Earl Samuel Martin of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL (formally of La Scie, NL) announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, at the age of 83 years.

Left to mourn with fond loving memories his daughter, Kathryn Warren (Maxwell); sibling, Rowena Saunders; sister-in-law, Phylis Martin; friend Eileen Noble; friends that became family, Sid & Millie Reid.

He is predeceased by his wife, Edna Martin (Price); parents, Samuel and Leah Martin; parents-in-law, Wesley and Amy Price; siblings; Baxter Martin (Neta), Frank Martin, Harvey Martin (Dorothy), and Ruby Rice (Edward); brother-in-law, Kenneth Saunders.

The public visitation will take place Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 7-9 pm and Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 9-11 am from the United Church, La Scie, NL.

The funeral service will take place Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 1 pm from the United Church, La Scie, NL with Rev. Harry Oake officiating.

The interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, La Scie, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, La Scie, NL.
