It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Stella Foster (Pinksen) announces her passing from the Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the age of 92 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories are her children, Kenneth Foster (Marjorie), St. John's, NL, Roy Foster (Sandra), Olive Foster (Clarence), both of La Scie, NL, Kirke Foster (Juanita), Esterhazy, SK and Craig Foster (Darlene), Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren, Jackie (Vincent), Kelly (Richard), Colleen (Jason), Luke (Sarah), Troy, Bobby Kirke (Erica), Wendy (Coralee), Jason, Brittany and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Dallas, Taylor, Daniel, Katie, Emily, Jersey, Jorja, Teagan, Ava, Khayson and Jaxton; sister-in-law, Hazel Osbourne, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Harold Foster; parents, Daniel and Olive Pinksen; brother, Frank Pinksen (Blanche); sister, Lenora Sacrey (Garland); parents-in-law, Kenneth and Charlotte Foster; granddaughter, Shawna; grandson, Stuart; great-granddaughter, Victoria; step-brother, Leslie Osbourne.

Public visitation took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 2-4 pm.

The funeral service took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 1 pm with Reverend Harry Oake officiating. Interment followed from Zion United Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
