It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doris Marina Noseworthy announces her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 93 years.
Doris leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter, Martha (Ray) Hunter; grandchildren, Jason (Renee), Laura (Keith); great-grandchildren, Mallory, Maggie, Sophie, Benjamin; brothers, Stan (Frances), George (Bride); special nephews, Rick, Glenn; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Doris is predeceased by her parents, George & Ida Saunders; husband, William; sister, Martha; brothers, William, Edward, Barry; stepbrother, Andrew; & sister, Live.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff on Wing 3B and the staff of the Carmelite House and an extra special thank you Peggy Ann Chaulk-Glavine (2nd daughter) for your kindness cand care given towards mom.
The public visitation will take place Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The funeral service will take place Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 2 pm at Evangel Pentecostal Church, 131 Grenfell Heights, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Evangel Pentecostal Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
