It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Dorcas Rhoda Sacrey announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, April 14, 2023 aged, 58 years.

Dorcas Rhoda (Chipp) Sacrey was born in Middle Arm, NL on June 19, 1964 to William and Hilda Chipp. She met her husband Harold Sacrey and married him, the love of her life on September 6, 1980.

She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Her time on earth is done. May she rest in peace with her Saviour, where she has no more pain.

Left with fond and loving memories is her husband of 42 years, Harold Sacrey; brothers, Neil Chipp (Edith), Leawood Chipp (Karen) and Rudy Chipp; sisters, Annie Pardy, Joy Sacrey (Ben), Madonna Packwood (Lindsey) and Mavis Thomas (Lloyd); sisters-in-law, Lillian Chipp and Emily Chipp, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dorcas is predeceased by her parents, William and Hilda Chipp; brothers, Meric, Baxter and Pearce Chipp; parents-in-law, Willia and Nellie Sacrey; nephew, Joey; brother-in-law, Max Pardy; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Gale (Jim) and Marie Chipp (Hubert).

Public visitation took place at Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 7-9 pm.

The funeral service took place on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 2 pm with Pastor Keith Simms officiating. Interment followed at Harvest Time Pentecostal Cemetery, Pacquet, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family.
