It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Donald Lacey announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the age of 73 years.

Donald leaves to mourn his wife, Cathy Furey; son - Brett Lacey, Baie Verte; daughter - Nakita Lacey (Ian) Yellowhead County, AB; granddaughter, Melody-Ann Lacey; siblings, Judy Critch (Sandy), Barry Lacey (Sandra), Florence Whalen (Tom), Fiona Dove (Danny); siblings-in-law, Pauline Hartigan.

Predeceased by his parents, Martha & Garland Lacey; grandparents, Rebecca & Herbert Hamlyn; parents-in-law, Susan & Edward Furey; brother-in-law, Patrick Furey.

Public visitation will take place for Donald at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL, Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 2:00PM - 4:00PM & 6:00PM - 8:00PM

The funeral service will take place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL, Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00PM  with Envoy Sandra Pinksen officiating. interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, LaScie, NL.
